Last day of term.....

The boys broke up for Easter today - it is a welcome break for all of us. The first week of the holidays is a bit busy, but the second week will be one for rest and relaxation!

We went to visit Chris and Ali straight after school. The boys and Ian had not yet met the twins, and I was a bit worried that Chris and Thomas wouldn't be very interested. Chris was pretty disinterested, but Thomas really surprised me. He declared that they were both 'cute' and went on to hold Freddie for ages! Here's a pic - doesn't Thomas look grown up?

Our remortgage was finalised today, with the balance going into our account. We now have a reasonably-sized mortgage and no loans or credit cards. It's great, and we finally feel that we are making the most of our money. We have savings, pensions and plans for the future.

The sun is shining and the birds are singing, and Dr Who starts tonight!!! The boys are very excited - we have told them that they can stay up to watch it, and we'll order in pizza or chinese - make an event of it.

I hope the weather is shining on you, wherever you are.
