Let's all big it up for Chris!!!

My boy, my precious blondie, has made me a very, very proud mum. He came home from school on Wednesday with not 1, not 2, but 3 places on 'Gifted and talented children' courses! He has been put forward for Science, DT and Art & Design. I could burst. He's worked hard over the last four years at junior school - he's not a swot, but he is conscientious, like his dad, and all that work has paid off. He's walking on air at the moment, and rightly so.

Yeovil Town FC play the second leg of the League 1 play-offs at Notts Forest tonight. Forest have a 2-0 lead going in to it, but it's still possible for us to win. It's live on Sky Sports tonight. Keeping the sporting theme, is anyone watching the cricket? I love cricket - 'spose I should blame my Yorkshire-born parents for that!

Finally, random photo of the day is Chris at the Meteor Crater, Holbrook, Arizona. Taken in 2003 and not long till we're back there again!
