TKD Grading this morning.

So, at 9.30am, Chris and I were in the main gym at Preston school, ready for our grading. It's funny really - I'm a grown woman of (nearly)37, with two children. I've been a school governor, chair etc of the PTA, given public talks to various sections of society, and yet I still feel horribly nervous when I grade. It's not like I'm forced to be there, but I still feel horrid. I think it's down to wanting to do your best, but knowing that you don't know everything. Anyhoo, it seemed to go well, though I was surprised that we didn't do any self-defence work or pad work. My theory questions weren't too bad either. Ah well, we'll find out if we passed on Wednesday - my birthday!!!!!

Chris did brilliantly - he just takes it all in his stride.

The under-stairs cupboard is almost finished - Ian is amazing. He can turn his hand to just about anything. It looks fab, and we've got so much more storage space now - hurrah!

Grandma's 90th birthday celebrations went well last Sunday - it was lovely to see family that we haven't seen for years. I was lucky enough to sit between Chris and Jacob, my 8 year old nephew. He's a great boy, and we had a lovely time.

This is a picture of Grandma saying hello to one of her great-grandsons:
