We had a lovely New Years Eve. The boys were allowed to stay up, and I made some 'party' food.
I roasted a lovely big joint of topside for lunch today, with potatoes roasted in beef dripping, carrots and sprouts with butter, and red cabbage with apple and onion. I even made some yorkshire puds! They rose perfectly...I was one happy bunny.
Mum and Dad made a move after lunch - they are going to stay with Chris and Ali for a couple of days, before going home.
Yesterday morning we booked our summer holiday - we are returning to Arizona for the third time. We so love our roadtrips around this beautiful state. This time we are also planning to visit San Diego for a couple of nights - should be fun.
