I took it upon myself to clip Ace's front claws this evening...BAD decision! She was sitting nicely, until she heard the children coming downstairs. She twitched, just as I cut - you can probably imagine the next bit. What you probably can't imagine is the amount of blood! It was like something from Shaun of the Dead. I rang the vet, and took her straight down - some adrenaline, tissue glue and an antibiotic injection later, plus £30 deducted from my current account, and she's back to normal. Mind you, she doesn't know that she's booked in to be spayed next Monday!!
