Half-term happies.

We had a lovely time in Luxembourg. The weather was sunny but cold. On Tuesday we had lunch in Germany. Bitburg to be exact. Ian had his first ever schnitzel! We were so close to the Nurburgring, but Ian didn't want to take his baby round...bless.

This was the view from our balcony - if it looks misty, that's because it was! It was so idyllic - we had a resident heron, robin, red squirrel and kingfisher. Our alarm clock was a group of around 30 ducks.

We visited some lovely places, including Vianden:

We ate well in the hotel restaurant, and the wine was wonderful.

Anyhow, I'm off for some supper, and I'll post more tomorrow.
