TaeKwon-Do Grading

Well, we did it! The boys and I attended our first grading yesterday morning. I was more nervous for the boys than me, but as it turns out, I needn't have been. They performed brilliantly. I think I was fine. And I managed two lots of press-ups! Anyone who knows me will know what a feat that is, for someone of my shape. This figure took work, y'know?

Anyhow, the worst bit for me was the questions at the end - unfortunately I got 'Ginge' - in his 60's, military bearing, and perfectionist. He started of reasonably gently, but then hit me with the parts of the foot in Korean - I just froze. I hope I didn't embarrass myself.

We got home at about 1pm, and sat down to a delicious Sunday roast, cooked by Ian. How is it that food always tastes nicer when cooked by someone else? We spent the rest of the day vegging out - Yeovil were on the TV, playing Gillingham - we won 2-1!! Yippee - you go guys!

Here's another picture from Luxembourg - another view from our balcony:

I now need to spend the next couple of days psyching myself up for a visit to the dentists on Wednesday - ho-hum.
