Itchy and Scratchy

I have a companion all this week - someone who shouldn't be here during the day. Chris has got a rash - a nasty rash. In fact, he has Scarlet Fever. He currently has a sore throat, and a rash that covers his torso from the base of his neck to his waist....but only on the front! It's possibly going to get worse before it gets better, and he can't go to school all this week....

The weather is appalling here today. The rain hasn't stopped, it's windy, and it's cold! I even contemplated putting the heating on this morning. (It's still a novelty to have central heating!)

We went to Ikea on Saturday morning - replacement sofa covers were on the cards. But, they didn't have the green ones that I had before, so we have come away with a deep blue. They look rather nice in the lunge now. While we were there, we sussed out new bedroom furniture for the boys, and then we fell in love! We have always wanted soft leather sofa's, but could never afford them. Now we have seen the Ektorp chocolate brown leather sofa's in Ikea - and soooo affordable. We have promised them to ourselves when we come back from Arizona.

Talking of Arizona, we have very little time left before we go - am I getting excited? You bet I am!
