Red Bulls and anniversaries

We have had a busy weekend, and this week is just as busy. Hair appointments, workmen, Nina visiting, carpets up, carpets down, floorboards being hammered and dogs needing walks. Phew! I need a holiday.

We are celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary on Monday, and Ian is going to try and take the day off. It will be lovely to spend the day together, and maybe go out for lunch somewhere nice.

I got an email recently from the Red Bull Air Race organisers advising that tickets were available for this years event. Last year's event at Longleat was a complete washout, and a logistical nightmare for an awful lot of people who were trying to get there. We have decided that we cannot justify the expense of getting to London for the event this year. However, today's random photo was taken at Longleat last year. I had only had my Canon EOS 350D for a week, so I was still learning what it could do.

Now, I must away to make a lemon cake, using the recipe from Mum's church recipe book - it's a corker of a recipe, and I hope that domestic goddess Neenar appreciates it!!!! See you tomorrow morning Mrs Woman!
