It's oh so quiet.

I took Thomas to his new school this morning. He was very chatty on the way, but became very quiet and subdued when we arrived. As we walked up the path, Hannah spotted him and gave a smile and a wave. We wandered into the classroom to see the teacher, Mrs Shearer, who was lovely and welcoming. After making sure Thomas was settled, I popped into the school reception to deliver all the admissions forms, and pick up the letter about swimming tomorrow. The ladies in the office are so nice and helpful - it made me feel much better.

Since arriving home I've tidied round, vacuumed, walked the dog and sorted out the clean washing. Phew! Now I am sitting in the peace and quiet, waiting for my baked potato to be ready. Beans or cheese?

We've got another TKD class tonight, and I must remember to ask Steve about the theory we're expected to know for our grading.

The weather here last night was incredible - torrential rain, sleet etc., gale force winds - we had it all! And today? Well, it's chilly, but sunny and still. I just wish we could have some snow, like Sam in Wisconsin.

Random photo is a LO I did of Chris, just before his second birthday. Lots of Scenic Route papers.:
